Board of Alderman Priorities

Board of Alderman priorities are the backbone of effective governance, guiding decisions that directly impact the lives of residents and the overall health of our community.  By setting clear objectives and focusing resources on key areas such as infrastructure, economic development and public safety, city staff can ensure that limited resources are used efficiently and effectively.  These priorities not only address immediate needs, but also lay the groundwork for long-term sustainability and growth.  They serve as a blueprint for collaboration among stakeholders, fostering a unified vision and collective action toward common goals.   Ultimately, Board priorities are essential in shaping a resilient and thriving community where quality of life is continuously enhanced for both residents and visitors of Kimberling City!

The Kimberling City Board of Alderman has adopted the following priorities for 2024 -2025 to help guide growth and development for the city.

  • Infrastructure

  • Responsive & Efficient City Government

  • Promote Active Transportation & Recreational Opportunities

  • City Beautification

  • Code Compliance

As the city moves forward with these priorities, objectives will be defined and added for each priority to ensure accountability to our citizens.
