April 28, 2025
On behalf of the Kimberling City Police Department, I would like to sincerely thank you for taking the time to attend and participate in our inaugural Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Academy held on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Your presence and engagement helped make this first academy a success. We truly appreciate your commitment to learning more about our operations and your willingness to support our department’s mission of serving and protecting our community. Your dedication strengthens the bond between our agency and the citizens we serve.
We are incredibly proud of each of you for taking the first steps in serving and strengthening our community. Your commitment, energy, and heart have been nothing short of inspiring! Even our Mayor Bob Fritz attended and can attest to the same!
A special thank you to Reserve Officer John Goulbourne for his dedication, time, and expertise in helping get this academy off the ground and ensuring its success. Your leadership and support made a huge impact!
Big shoutout to Duckees for donating some amazing pizza (first timers gave it rave reviews!), Simply Baked for the delicious pastries, and our incredible City Staff (Crystal Boillot) for keeping everyone fueled with plenty of coffee. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Here’s to the beginning of a great partnership with our newest certified volunteers! One Team One Fight!
