Today is the day! Santa dropped off his sleigh last night at the city Public Works Department and is ready to say HI to all the kids today at the Kimberling City Christmas parade! The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. so be in your spot to watch by 9:45!
**Christmas Parade Route & Street Closure Notice**
We are getting excited here at City Hall, counting down the final days before the Kimberling City Annual Christmas Parade, this Saturday at 10am!
We do still have room for more participants. If you would like to be a part of the parade sign up on the city website https://www.ckcmo.com/page/city-updates
The Parade Route will follow the same route as last year:
*Parade starting at Pink Sunset and Kimberling Blvd.
*Parade will proceed down Kimberling Blvd. toward City Hall, turning right on Marina Way
*Parade will proceed toward Port of Kimberling Resort, ending at Nautical Circle and the field where the presentation stage will be placed.
•ALL FEEDER STREETS WILL BE CLOSED AT 9:30 AM FOR CHRISTMAS PARADE UNTIL 11AM AND/OR TRAFFIC CLEARS.
Make sure to stick around after all parade participants are parked at Nautical Circle to see the parade winners!
*The Dickens Carolers of Branson will be singing Christmas Carols while participants park and make their way to the presentation stage.
*Cookies and Hot Chocolate, sponsored by the Kimberling City Park Board, will be available during the award ceremony.
*Parade awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. We are excited to see who brought the most Christmas Spirit this year!
*Santa and Mrs. Clause will be walking around to talk to the kids and take pictures!!
***Parade Participants***
Set up & Departure
Parade line up will begin at 9:00am on Pink Sunset (Behind Southern Bank in Kimberling City) and will continue wrapping around the Harter House Parking Lot. 11798 State Highway 13, Kimberling City MO.
o Each person will line up as they arrive.
o The only spaces dedicated are the opening spaces for Color Guard, Grand Marshal and Dignitaries and the Reeds Spring High School Band who will start the line up on Pink Sunset. Floats will start to line up in the Harter House parking lot and the last space will be for Santa and Mrs. Clause.
o At line up you will be given a parade number to be placed in the passenger side window for judging. If your number is not on display your float/vehicle will not be included in the judging process. Make sure to write your business name, contact information, and float/vehicle theme on the back of your number so as we announce the winners, we know who you are.
o It is imperative that all vehicles are lined up and ready by 10AM. Parking space in the Harter House parking lot is available for extra vehicles.
Departure
o The event ends after all entries have parked at the parade end and the parade winners are announced. If you do need to leave earlier, please exercise caution as there will be many children and pedestrians in the area. We are estimating the parade and awards to be over by noon.
Judging
o Judges will be seated in front of the Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church on Kimberling Blvd. They will be judging each parade entry as they go by.
o After all entries are parked at POK, the Parade MC, Mac McAllister, will introduce the 2025 Grand Marshal, and present the awards to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries.

The City has just been notified that water is off for customers in the Missouri American water district boundary in Kimberling City due to new meter installation. You may experience water outages off and on. Work should be completed by 3:00 p.m. today. If you have any questions, please contact Missouri American at 1-800-430-0820. Thank you!
