💧 Your Voice Matters: Learn About the Future of Kimberling City’s Water
There is an important vote coming up on November 3 regarding the future of water service in Kimberling City and PWSD #1. This vote will only take place for residents within the PWSD #1 District, but the issue is important for all residents of Kimberling City.
We encourage everyone in our community to take the time to learn the facts firsthand by attending one of the upcoming open houses. This is an opportunity to ask questions, hear directly from those involved, and better understand what is being proposed.
Please take the time to educate yourself and make your decision based on reliable information—not social media posts or hearsay.
This vote represents an important first step in the City’s Water Consolidation Plan, which was presented to the public on October 25, 2025.
Please join us at an open house, ask questions, and be informed. Your participation matters to the future of our community’s water. 💧
It’s time to clean up and get ready for fall! Fall Clean-Up Week begins Monday, September 21st.
🗑️ Bulk Trash Pickup:
Republic Services will provide bulk trash pickup on Wednesday, September 23rd.
🌳 Free Brush Drop-Off:
The Public Works brush pile will be open all week for free brush and limb drop-off (permits will not be required). For citizens who find additional brush, limbs after the scheduled pickup has been completed.
🚛 Additional Dumpster:
A roll-off dumpster will be placed at Public Works as well for citizens who find additional trash after the scheduled pickup has been completed.
Take advantage of this opportunity to clean up your property and help keep Kimberling City looking its best!
Mark your calendars! The Fall City-Wide Garage Sale will be held September 18th and 19th.

The Kimberling City Dog Park will be closed until 2:00 p.m. today while our Public Works Department performs routine park maintenance and repair.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone. The park will reopen at 2:00 p.m. once maintenance and repairs been completed.

Kimberling City Hall will be closed today due to ongoing construction in the front lobby and repairs to the building's air conditioning system.
We are hopeful that repairs will be completed and that we will be back in the office tomorrow. We will keep everyone updated if anything changes.

Please note, the city will not be responding to any comments on this post. If you have comments you would like addressed, please plan on attending the Public Hearing on Monday July 27, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the Kimberling City Hall Community Center.
The Police Committee and Special Events Committee meetings scheduled for tonight have been cancelled.
The next scheduled meetings for both committees will be held on Tuesday, August 11.

Be prepared for traffic delays on Kimberling Blvd. on Monday, July 6th due to water line repair work in the area.
Please use caution, watch for crews, and allow extra travel time.
City Hall Lobby will be closed today and tomorrow for remodel. Staff is still available by phone and any payments can be put in the drive up box.
Due to the weather, Public Works will begin work on Skyline and Hickory on Tuesday. Please watch for workers in the area and pay attention to all traffic control.
